Just getting started

As a new author, publishing a book has been a true learning experience! When I sat down to write the first book, I didn't think of anything beyond the writing part of it. Two books and months later, I've discovered there's so much more to it!

So I've been keeping busy, not only writing, but figuring out marketing, advertising, which sites are good for promos, not to mention beta readers and ARCs. (before all this, I had no idea what a beta reader even was!)

I'm a librarian, so it's my job to read and buy books (it's pretty awesome!) But it's fascinating to see the other side of the process.

Will I ever see one of my own books in a library? Fingers crossed. ;)
